As a landlord, I continuously gave returned the deposits--no rely what they did. probable why I by no potential made any money on leases --LOL. There are limits to how long an condominium can value you for an merchandise (i'm finding for the be conscious right here, yet my strategies hasn't had sufficient espresso yet). occasion: in my city, via regulation leases have be painted each 3 years. In you situation, you should no longer be charged for any marks on the partitions (nicely, apart from relatively holes). So i'm thinking in the experience that your city has an identical condo regulations. replaced into the carpet new once you moved in? by using fact, 4 years is a protracted time for carpet in a condo, and if it replaced into used once you moved on your case could additionally be extra advantageous. first of all, circulate purchase a can of be sure carpet air purifier--the foaming type. under $5.00.. Spray, enable take a seat, sparkling with damp textile. If be sure can not get the stain out, this is probable by no potential going to come returned out. If the stain nevertheless won't budge, you will ought to negotiate wit the apt. complicated on the carpet rates. As you have been a solid, long term era tenant, they might replace the carpet and not value you something *that would be the terrific situation to do* M

Feel free to inquire about a different length lease to suit your requirements. Certainly a place which offers three and six month leases might possibly consider a four month lease instead. The worst they can tell you is no.
Good luck to you, and may your husband return safely !

One option would be to sign a 3 month lease and once the lease expires you can stay "month to month". Once the lease expires they can raise the rental amount though.
I would talk with them about writing you a lease for your time frame so everything will be in writing for your protection :)

Seeing that your husband is going to Iraq. No self-respecting landlord would have a problem with you renting for only 4 months...and if they do, do you really want to live there anyway??
