Read a book, take a nap, play online "timewaster" games, watch a movie. The list goes on.

Are you old enough to be working? If possible you should get a job to help pass the time! Otherwise, I am a big fan of reading books-- go to the library and you'll be amazed at all the things you don't know. I don't know what your reading tastes are, or if you even like reading, but here are a few good novels to help you pass the time:
*Any Harry Potter books (they're so good!)
* Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series
* The DaVinci Code (also the prequel to that is Angels & Demons-- both highly suspensful)
* Shopaholic series
* Any book by John Grisham!
Go to your library and browse the sections that interest you. you're guranteed to find something you'll like.

I kinda think boredom is actually a state of being discontented with yourself, not just having nothing to do. Perhaps you need a purpose for your existence or a change in your direction.
Sounds a bit self-serving but helping other people, volunteering, can redirect your thoughts away from your discontent.
Create a goal, overcome something you thought impossible or make something... being creative can be very satisfying.
Get more education... there's no end to the things you can learn.
Don't forget to get out and see the amazing beauty of this planet (c;

Read good books like Harry Potter, sherlock Holmes, Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys (although out of fashion), Three Men in a boat, and many books can be read online.

I would like to recommend Alain de Botton's "How Proust Can Change Your Life", a paperback by Picador, which is readable and understandable with his sense of humor. You can find one in any good bookstore and I hope reading it should lessen your boredom.

It depends on what your interests are..If you're in for physical activities, then play a sport you've never tried before. if you're the homebody type, read books of your own genre or play boardgames and stuff..If all else fails, plan a gimmick with your pals.
