problems with my PC ? For some reason my PC isnt detecting my Graphics Card - and when I go to instal from the CD that came with it - the setup program says it cant find the card either ?? Someone suggested putting it into a different slot - but I cant be bother to open the pc up incase I break something ??

It looks like you deleted your graphics card driver during the OS reinstallation. I suspect motherboard chipset drivers were also deleted that is why the card could not be detected at all. Usually after a fresh install or a reinstallation of an OS, chipset drivers should be installed afterwards, then the graphics card driver, sound card driver (if not onboard), etc. This arrangement works for me flawlessly ALL THE TIME on my laptops and desktops in my home network.

Have you tried clearing the CMOS as this will refresh the hardware stats in the BIOS.

This can be done by powering down the computer, unplugging it, open the case, find in the 'button' battery and remove it for 30 seconds or so. Just re-install the battery and restart your system. You may also be able to do the same thing by using a jumper rather removing the battery.

need not put the card in different slot, just open the computer cover and just remove and refix the card in the same slot.

should be ok after that.
