yes, what Holmes has said is correct. The only alternative is to change the screen and the Nokia people will not do it even if it is in warranty period. This normally happens when you drop your phone or when your phone is subject to a hard shock. Never keep your phone in a Jeans pocket (front or back) or the clothings which are skin tight. The instrument tends to bend when you sit and this type of faults happen.

Well thats what thay call a 'dead pixel' and I am sorry to say that is irrepairable. only solution is to replace the display, and if your set is still under warrenty you can try it with the dealer.

hey i too have n70..cheers...you cannot do anything of your own..take it to the vendor and ask him to do something..i think it would cost u a little....try to put clen guard after repairing..it costs around 50 indian rupees
