I have lots and lots of questions in my head.. and most the questions i already know.. and the answer is 'It is hard to get that answer' Till few months back, i was in both sides, that there is GOD (as conceived by religions) and there is no GOD.. But now i feel all is ILLUSION. Why so, let me share my view.. Imagine if all my memories, all my knowledge are wiped out.. and i am left with involuntary functions like breathing, eating, sleeping etc, what would i be. Who would be my GOD? How would be my life? Nlow imagine that this is happening with all the human in this world.. then what would have been the condition of this world.. I hope this is enough to think what are we? Look at the universe, it is so big and vast.. how much do we know about it? Look deep inside your own body, how much do we know about it? Dont you feel, our knowledge about the world the within and outside are very less, yet we beat the trumpet that we are BIG GUNS.. We have just started to learn and gather information, whether you believe it or not, our EGO is taking big toll on us..

Assuming God exists, which you have clearly done, then yes, he would care. which has been more essential to human life? the discovery of pork, or the discovery of quantum mechanics? clearly pork is much more important. Being unable to eat pork is quite a respectable attribute for a person and it represents giveing your life to God. so pork itself is not what matters but the meaning behind it. I, personally, would prefer to lose the discovery of quantum mechanics, than bacon.

God has created all energies through conscious scanning action within self defined space-time limitations. The quantum mechanics relate to actions at the atomic levels whether constituting a living pig or its fleshy parts. What God is really interested is to keep a quantum energy levels programmed in a particular element or a compound material coherent within the laws of natural creation and not eat away all things for himself leaving nothing to his living creatures.

This omnipotent God created the universe, the living beings, especially man in His own image as they say, and then made a rule that every cause will have an effect and every effect will have to be caused... thereafter He has sat back watching fun..... can't see Him caring about anything at all!!!!
If pork can be more risky for health, so it should be stated rather than dragging God's pleasure and Word into it... even then one must only talk about precautions necessary. In my view every religion is symbolic and the real meaning of them all was lost long long ago!!!!

Nope! The whole pork being unclean thing was from the days before modern curing and refrigeration existed and was a being hailed as a form of personal hygiene, in a time when personal hygiene was not highly regarded and illness was rampant. It is an ancient belief that was relevant back in the days the bible was written, but is no longer relevant with our modern technology and the advent of the industrial revolution of the last 150 years or so.

I do not know scientifically whether pork has some harmful effects on human body and mind, but I still believe that there are. I do not eat pork because I believe there is a definite harm in doing so, and that there is an absolute wisdom in the commandment by God regarding this. This sounds like an irrational statement based upon a blind faith. But I think there is reason, and even more so, when a belief in creation is enlightened by such an enlightened thoughtfulness as yours.
God who created quantum mechanics would not be like a person who has studies and understands sub-atomic particle physics and therefore no longer is interested in little matters like checking upon what is on the menu for the rest of His creation. The creation, as you know, is not a patchwork of isolated or disjunctive instances. It is harmonious and homogeneous in its form and function. The God who created the Sun, the Stars, the Moon and this Earth is the same God who created small insects and seemingly insignificant organisms. He is equally interested in the function of galaxies as He is in the living of a small ant.
If we look at this from another point of view then we can see things in terms of logical consequences of doing something then the very nature of things that we understand by a study of quantum mechanics defies the logic of our thinking. Ordinarily we know that if a train standing on platform one is bound to go south, then the passengers on board that train are most likely for the passengers of that train to go south as well. The consequences of actions are to some extent are predetermined by our past and present state of being; what I will do tomorrow, for instance, is already well within the limits and bounds of that I set in for my today, or what I have been doing in the days leading up to now.
But there is uncertainty at the heart of each atom, and howsoever I may intend to win the fruit of my labours the way I like, there are always chances for my plans to go awry and consequence to appear quite in contradiction to the wishes of my scientific or logical mind. Being human being is, in my view, to be faithful as well as rational and intelligent.

Well He really cared that people of that time should not eat pork and get the sicknesses it carried. But later on it was revealed to Paul that you should not say what all God had created as 'unclean' and so you can eat pork. But what really is the occult antagonistic link between pigs and Christianity, Judaism and Islam for that matter is really not known to me. For eg. Jesus gives permission to the 'legion' of unclean spirits to go into pigs who also do not harbour them but fall into the sea and die.

The pork issue started in the old testament times and after the death of Jesus the laws were replaced as the debt was paid by Jesus blood. So now days, no pork is trivial, the greatest commandment is love

The God of the Bible is interested in all things, big and small, he is waiting to be invited to share all things with us. The choice of eating pork or not is personal.

If in the place we live there is a high risk of getting something very nasty from eating pork meat, especially improperly handled or cooked, maybe we would appreciate the warning.
