Firstly there is a difference between a dwarf and a midget. A midget is just very small. A dwarf has very short arms and legs but the same body size as a non dwarf/midget. Therefore if you arms and legs are noticably smaller than they should be your a dwarf no matter how big you are. With a midget i would think that you are medically one if the size is affecting your health/life capacity.

Its not pc to call small people dwarfs anymore. They have to be referred to as vertically challenged. Although I don't know how tall you have to be to escape this label. I suppose it depends on how tall the people around you are. If you live in a dwarf community and stand higher than every other dwarf then I guess that you are still a dwarf. Just a tall one.

Being a dwarf isn't a matter of height. You can actually get people who are technically called dwarfs but are not far off average height. Dwarfism is a genetic abnormality and the height is only one aspect. Sometimes a dwarf will also have a compromised immune system or disordered functioning of organs as a part of their disease (for lack of a better word).

Dwarfism is a condition that has other symptoms than just height, such as disproportionate size of limbs. A person can be short without being a dwarf, and a dwarf isn't necessarily very short.

ONe they aren't called dwarf's anymore they are called Little People. An adult who's 3'6" tall or smaller is concidered a Little Person. But does the height of a person really matter ? I would hope not.

'Lamb', a better word would be condition, but your answer is absolutely right. As for the height, dwarfism is under 4' 10"
Midgetism is caused by a malfunction of the pituitary gland
and they have no distortion of the skull or facial features.

The Little people themselves use the four foot mark as an unofficial dividing point. Anyone under is, anyone over is not.
