west indies badly underprepared for an inexperienced team in difficult conditions 1 warm up game not enough. Bad fielding Chanderpaul injury before and sarwan injury during (2 best batsman not batting) didn't help.
England got everything right batting well Pietersen is W Class Vaughan ton and Prior good knock, and they caught and bowled well picking Sidebottom in those conditions - masterstroke.
England had experience players in good form who did the basics far better than the W Indies.

The West Indies didn't play very well. They aren't a very strong bowling side anymore. I thought they did alright though as they have just lost Lara. England played better than they did in the World cup Vaughan back with style 103 and Pietersen 226. Prior scored 75 two catches as well. Sidebottom 4 for 42 Plunkett 3 for 35. England definitely getting better only a matter of time before West Indies do to. All teams go through bad phases.

i think of you should ask this question to the WICB,they could be in a extra effectual place to respond to. If a participant like Gayle may be made to take a seat exterior the group, that too while he replaced into interior the form of his life. Then what else are you able to assume. There are relatively a large type of motives a million) the physique of strategies of the WICB- undergo in strategies WI isn't a u . s . a ., its a collection of international locations and each valid interior the WICB tend to favour the nationality of the participant rather than the skills. So modifications crop up easily. 2) NBA- the childrens of the Caribbeans want to play interior the NBA which they experience is lots extra interesting than cricket. 3) no longer finding for replacements in the past the retirement of the vast names, led to a vacuum. England are an attractive lot interior the try section, yet come a cropper interior the shorter variations. they actually require a attacking captain, with the intention to alter this attractiveness.

England Vs West Indies...
It was always a one side game,, reasons for it are: -
West Indies Bowlers and Battest man not in their best Form.
No, Walsh, Ambrose, Lara, Candarpael, Sarwan.... then who was playing against England.....
Kevin Pertserson, on its top form of the life.... Best Battest Man Currently in the World even far better than ponting and sachin..
and more over Monty played at its best... taking 3 Wickets
Harmision allway good enough.
New Debut of Wicket Weeper Prior, Super Batting....
Drop Catches by West Indies......
so now you deside Who played Well or Rubbish..
It was a mix of Good Play by England and rubbish by West Indies Battest Man......

I think west indies played very bad. They were playing than even bad then bangladesh. They were having a very good chance of drawing the game but their wickets fell like nine pins.after seeing their batting i thought that any batsman in their team was in mood to stay at the wicket as if they were afraid of cold weather.how can a team which has international experience can score less than150 on a flat pitch where scored 570.they should reconsider their strategy and every player should his responsibilty .If they don't understand their responsibilty then it would be a one sided test series.let see what happen in next test match.

a bit of both. the west indies were not at their best but England were fantastic. Vaughan is back on form and pietersen with a double hundred. And the selection of ryan sidebottom was a good one.

Unfortunately its because the Windies just played rubbish. They are not the force they once were. But every team goes through peaks and troughs. They will be back one day. Now that Brian Lara has retired they dont have any world class players at all.
Unlike the 80's and early 90's when they were world beaters.
