No sir, I have never had a horrible vacation in Orlando, Florida. The only time I came close was when I was there with my entire family and they drove me crazy, but it was them and not being in Orlando at all. Oh, I checked out your website and I must say it is very creative. A little bit off, skewed, and bitter, but creative anyway. If you don't like Orlando, then MOVE! I can't believe that people actually LISTEN to you and change their plans based on the garbage you spout. I know quite a few people who have worked for Disney and they loved it. As a matter of fact when I was there in April I spoke to a few cast members who say it was the most fun they ever had while working. How do you explain that? Seems to me that Disney has a disgruntled employee on their hands.
I agree with the other posters, every place has it's good and bad points. I live in the Chicago area, and I will tell you what you have to deal with in Orlando is kid's stuff. There is crime, corruption and problems everywhere, and trust me Orlando is by far not the worst place to be. Why don't you try a Chicago winter some time. Wind chills in the single digits, snow sometimes a foot deep. Cold from Novemeber to March. Yeah, that chilly 45 for a low is really awful.

I can't say I had a horrible vacation. But the first time I went to Orlando, it RAINED the entire time. The sun came out as soon as I hopped on the plane back home to Norfolk, VA. Then I had a flight that was delayed over 3 1/2 hours going back home from MCO to ORF. And what did we get for our troubles? A $7 meal voucher! Now what can you buy for $7 in MCO?

No, I've never had a truly bad experience in Orlando. But I like Disney and Universal Studios and some of the other attractions (Gatorland!) in the area. I was even there during a hurricane when they shut everything down and we had to stay inside - we had stocked up on food before and played cards and watched tv all day. I think that (barring a tragedy or catastrophe) most people choose whether they have a good vacation or a bad vacation - it's in your attitude. I handle any road blocks that occur while I travel and keep my sense of humor - my good nature got me upgraded to a suite in Vegas and has gotten me in first class on planes.

As a proud Orlando Resident I find that website very insulting and senseless. I cant believe that someone would actually spend thier own time to put up such a website filled with nothing but garbage. If the person that put up that website really hates Orlando then they can just move as far away as possible and keep their negative comments to themselves and away from people that actually enjoy Orlando, especially the many visitors that come to enjoy thier vacations every year and keep our city alive with a strong economy.

No I've been to Orlando a few times and I love it.
I love theme parks and coasters and sunny weather and all the attractions.
I love eating out every day and not having to cook and I love Pirates Cove golf!
We did have a bit of a disaster on our last trip as my little girl had a tummy bug for nearly the entire trip!.
My son said to her "you were lucky to go to Disney and get a visit from Pooh"...that went down like a lead balloon!

Yep. Just came back from Disney. My kids 5 and 2 were fine when they got there. Thenn my oldest contracted the Rotovirus on the trip. We couldn't do anything. It causes violent vomiting and diarrhea. Then the baby got it. I had 5 day parkhopper passes which i wasted. We pushed the double stroller with two sleeping kids for the whole vacation. A nightmare.

No we went last year and everyone was friendly and helpful and the weather was fantastic the only downside was when we to Miami for the day it poured down with rain which spoiled our day out we wanted to go to South Beach and paddle in the water but the rain put us and spoiled our boat trip. It only rained two days on 14 day holiday we really enjoyed our time in orlando planning on returning next year. I am from the UK.
EDIT I had a look at your website and I think you have a really bad attitude as the saying goes "if you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen" in other words if you hate living in Orlando or Florida all together then move somewhere else. All places have their good points and bad points. Take New York for instance before it was cleaned up NYC had a bad reputation now that its cleaned up ie got rid of the porn cimemas and other related places NYC is a much nicer place to visit.

I've lived in FL pretty near Orlando all my life... if someone is planning a trip to Orlando it is their duty to watch the weather and to not come if a hurricane is headed this way, which doesn't happen as much as out-of-staters think.... Its not a travel agents fault that someone came to FL during bad weather, that is thier responsibility as an adult to plan their vacation properly... Theres so much to do in Orlando, you can't really go wrong with a trip there

Never been there but if you are looking for a cockroach infested dung pit for your hols you might like to try Gran Canaria. Airtours do a nice grueling two weeks of torture that can be booked through Thomas Cook. A lovely example of a bone dry desert rock miraculously transformed into vast concrete cess pit overflowing with cockroaches and feral cats. They also do a very nice line in open sewers for those who are interested in history.
