The (R) just means Registered Trademark, it's nothing to do with the processor itself.

You have a Pentium M, which is an almost-as-powerful laptop version of the Pentium 4.

The (R)'s stand for All Rights Reserved. It basically means that the names 'Intel' and 'Pentium' are copyrighted, that's all.

The R doesn't describe the type of Pentium, it means it's a registered trade mark. The M means it was designed for mobile applications.
