Nothing is more valuable than happiness because when one is happy, one has a direct connection with higher self or soul.
This allows all desires to be quickly fulfilled as well as magnifying the flow of creative or love energy through one and to others. I cannot think of anything more valuable.

Happiness is defined in many ways and in the west, even momentary pleasure can be termed as happiness.... however, I think you are referring to the lasting happiness. No, nothing is more valuable than happiness of that kind, since it is the rarest thing to be found in human life and value flows from rarity. This happiness can make a person immune to all pains and pleasures and the state of peace, tranquility and quiet satisfaction is equivalent to Heaven.
Even though it is not possible to attain absolute happiness, we can all try and maximise our state of happiness. The feeling would be like sound sleep without any dreams.

Humans place universal importance on happiness which is often associated with states like well-being, good health, safety, glad and delight. Happiness is influenced by the attitude, perspective taken on any circumstances. Bliss, joy, carefree, jovial, ecstatic, euphoric, thrilled, elated are states of happiness.

'Eudaimonia' , the term we translate for happiness, is for Aristotle, an activity rather than emotion or a state. People seek riches, wealth not for itself but in order to be happy.

Happiness is characteristic of a good life which a man or woman fulfills human nature in an excellent way. Happiness is a virtuous activity of the soul in accordance with reason. Happiness is practice of virtue.

Americans refer happy life as "American Dream', which they believe can be achieved by hard work and determination.

Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. " If you love what you are doing, you will be successful" - "Albert Switzer"

Hellen Killer says " If one door of happiness closes, another one opens, but often we look at the door closed and not the door that has opened"

Happiness is not obtained through self gratification, but through fidelity to a worthy cause or purpose .

It becomes very clear from what I have attempted to say that there is nothing more valuable than happiness.

Happiness is a state of euphoria which can fizzle out after a relatively short span of time. It certaily is important and if it can be sustained, it is the ultimate. However, human beings live in an imperfect world and no one can remain in a state of happiness if one is in contact with what is happening all around us: wars, diseases, catastrophes etc... but if one accepts that all this is part of our existence and that we are living in a valley of tears, but we also hope that there is a better world once we pass, then we can reach a state of contentment which could last throughout our lifetime.

my opinion is contentment is more valuable than happiness. contentment means satisfy with the needs and not to go the desires which you cannot achieve in life. Before the happiness you should give preference to contentment in life.

biologycly, happiness is the most powerful feeling. See, when people are in love, some fall in to depression because of love that is not returned, some feel pain and some want to deliver pain to other people, all because of love. You, see, love, that is described as the GREATEST felling can lead to bad things. Still, happiness cover a greater space in our psychology and therefor it cannot lead to any other feelings. It cannot me combined with love, hate, depression or anything else.

Happiness is a short lived feeling, excitement and joy. Contentment in life and all the things around you is the real feeling and it comes after happiness has gone, but it stays around. Have a good day.

the basically terrific solid is exhilaration, yet pleasures of the flesh fade and oft turn to soreness therein. ethical pleasures and pleasures of the strategies are extra durable, and return the exhilaration oftentimes in memory. -Epicurus (paraphrased) Basing the value of one's life on an emotion is like basing it on actual pleasures. very at as quickly as happiness turns into extra stable and extra stable to maintain. So putting happiness interior the motive force's seat is a assure of unhappiness. life must be extra beneficial than gratification, and Epicurus shows us the way, while he shows bigger satisfiers as a extra solid wager. in case you are able to no longer come across a motivator for all times different than to get your way each and all the time (that's the subtext of "chuffed each and all the time") then you definately're a spoiled brat and not something will artwork for you in any case from that strategies-set.
