It's nearby impossible to get to know where an email comes from.
You could try to check the domain, but it's very easy to get an email account of another domain than the country i live in.
And then theres still the possibility to fake e-mail addresses when sending emails...

All you can get is the IP of the mail server the mai was send from in the mail header, and check what country its standing in

If you are using a POP3 email client, you can sometime view the header file and determine the originated country, but most ISP has a central hub thats handles all emails for their users, so an AOL email sent from UK will actually be sent out from a US mail server, makes it impossible to trace.
