Wow! That's really bad.

Normally you have to really f*ck up to get your admission revoked, but I would say that you are coming pretty close to the cutoff. Can't you do something to improve your grades?

If you do get into U of P you better learn your lesson from this and NEVER slack off again. One term like this in college will end your dream of dental school. Buckle down and take care of business.

Yeah, it could have a detrimental effect on your college education. If you can't handle high school courses you will have an extremely hard time in college, especially in the sciences where they (medical/dental) are looking for the best students. You want to be getting A's a just a few B's to get into a medical program of any kind, especially in any science courses. The college will definitely be looking at your grades and that will be the determining factor in accepting you.

I'm kind of going through the same problem here. I got my admission offered from Penn State, but my senior grades took a nose dive. So I actually did ask about this to one of the students there, and she told me that usually, if colleges don't ask for a mid-year report form, then normally they would not revoke your admission. So if the school hasn't asked for a mid-year report form, I think you should be fine, as long as you don't fail all of your classes. Best of luck for both of us eh?
