Recent research shows that children are more influenced by peer presure , so you may have put in very good work during thier infant childhood years only to have it dysroed by peer pressure.
I would nt reproach yourselfif anthing goes wrong even psychologists ( in some Cases) cannot explain why people with good starts turn out bad .
I would say at all times remeber you should be respected by your children tough insist on it from the outset -love is good love

Nothing is absolute here. Parents teach children moral values and they set examples. It means you don't teach him smoking is bad but they catch you sneak a couple in.
Society offers a set of values such as loving your country, don't steal, etc. and individual families add their own. American society cannot preach divorce is good or bad, or which church is better.
And how children turn out is also a matter of measuring yardsticks that vary from family to family and culture to culture. It is a lot easier to say the kids have turned out bad (substance abuse, prison, etc.)

You won't while you're still in the middle of it. When they're all grown up and you look at what they have become, then you know if you did a good job or not. Unfortunately, if the answer is no, it's too late to change anything.

You do the best you can with the knowledge you have.
You might eventually look back and wish you would of done things differently. we all do that.
I recommend boundries. livable punishments, and most important consistancy. Cause and effect. Written down so that there is no confusion.

If they become productive, self-reliant adults that are decent human beings, then you've done OK by them. If they don't, and you've given them love and all the opportunities in the world, then it's not on you that they made the wrong choices in life.
