Each toss the probability of getting a head is 1/2, so
(1/2)*(1/2)*(1/2) = 1/8
About every 8 times of tossing a coin 3 times in a row, you should expect to get 3 heads.

Probability of getting head in a toss is = 1 / 2

For three independent tosses,

Total probability = (1 / 2) ^ 3 = 1 / 8

probability of getting head=1/2 (as you can only throw either heads or tails.. so you have a 50%chance of throwing a head if you tossed a coin once)

so
the probability of getting three heads= p(head) x p(head) x p(head)
=(1/2)(1/2)(1/2)
=1/8

Probability of getting head each time is 1/2.
Getting head 3 times = (1/2)*(1/2)*(1/2) = 1/8

probability of getting head=1/2

probability of getting three heads=p(head)*p(head)*p(head)
=(1/2)(1/2)(1/2)
=1/8
