The first time it took me about a week but I was recovering from knee surgery and had nothing else to do but read. I just read it again and it took me about a month. Half Blood prince took me about 2-3 weeks both times I've read it. I can't wait for Deathly Hallows to come out it will take me a while to get through it because I have to work but I plan to take a day or two off to read most of it before I go back to work.

Order of the Phoenix about 3 hours. Pretty boring book really... My most hated Harry Potter book. For Half Blood Prince, 3 hours too. Love this one better, pretty sad though. I understand if it took you ages to finish it... It wasn't a wow compared to the others.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix took me about 17 hours, Harry Potter and the Halfblood Prince took me about 22 hours. I'm a very fast reader and on these days noone was allowed to speak to me, I just laid the books down to have lunch ;-)

As absolutely sad as it is I actually wrote the times on a bookmark that I put inside the books. I took 3hrs 34mins to read Order of the Phoenix, and 2hrs 52mins to read Half Blood Prince. I was lucky that on both days the weather was good so I took the books into the garden, made myself a jug of iced orange juice and just read until I had finished.

Order of the Phoenix was ages ago... if I remember right, two days. I mean, that's pretty good since I was only about ten at the time.
Half-blood Prince; I'm pretty proud of this; nine hours. And no, I didn't skim read, I hate skim-reading. I bought it at lunchtime the day it came out, was finished by nine oclock that night. Only stopped reading to have a shower, eat and go to the bathroom.
Hoping to break that record on July 21st!

I read fairly quickly, so while I don't remember exactly, I would say it took me between 8 and 10 hours. That was over a period of about a week, though. My mother lives with us, so my husband, my mom and I were all reading it at the same time. I usually have at least two books going at one time, so I let them finish it first because I got tired of hunting all over the house to find where one of them had set it down. Since "Half-Blood Prince" is longer, I would imagine it took me a bit longer to read--maybe 12 or 14 hours?

It took me about less than 6 hours. I have Power-Reading skill, ability to read fast without leaving important details. Actually I rarely use this skill since I enjoy reading with normal speed. LoL!!
For Half-Blood Prince, it's faster. Not more than 4-5 hours I believe.
PS: After I finish reading them for the first times, I always re-read it in normal speed. I really want to enjoy the thrill and sensation.... LoL!!
