If you would consider the terms colonised and/or invaded there are several nations that maybe taken into consideration. Practically the United States consisted of several Native American nations until the onset of European colonizers who practically wiped out the whole race. The same goes with Canada and New Zealand and with Australia. The effects of history do tend to make us all feel uneasy but considering the circumstances at that time, the British invasion of aborigine nations only matches the conquests of their European neighbors, the Spanish acquired South America, though they did not propogate their population and occupy the nation in a manner that the British did the fact that the whole culture of the natives was replaced with a hispanic one is to be taken into consideration.

Any country that the Brits occupied is illegally ocupied. Examples are Ireland, Canada, Las Islas Malvinas, Gibraltar, New Zealand, Iraq, Afghanistan. When Britain was powerful they flew their Butchers Apron (Union Jack) around the world and their occupation of India was among the most evil and brutal in history. In Ireland they murdered millions at various times such as the time of Cromwell and the famine of the 1840s. In the 1970's, 80's and 90's they helped Loyalist terrorists to murder innocent Catholics and to this day UVF na UDA terrorists and run by British intelligence. The world should make a stand against them

Just about every country in the modern world has been "illegally" colonized or seized at one point or another. America has territories and land they have seized just like France, Spain, United kingdom, Russia, United states of America and many more. Australia is no more Significant than the Bahamas, South Africa, and many other places.

Surely any country in the British Commonwealth is illegally occupied if you apply the same rule. Some would include New Zealand, Canada etc Also the US would fall into that category too now I think about it.

all countries are "illegally occupied" by someone. It just depends how far back you want to go in history. For instance: The arabs kicked the Berbers out in North Africa, the Chinese "illegally occupy" Singapore, ect ect.
If you want to start really going with it...Most "latin american" countries are currently "occupied" by the ancestors of the spanish, while pure bead indians are treated as 2nd class.
Blah blah blah..blah blah
Asia is being occupied by darn homosapians, who stole it and wiped out Homo erectus.

What do you consider "illegal" ?
If you go by that definition then Britain itself is illegal:
"After the fall of the Roman Empire, the Brythons of the south and east of the island became assimilated by Germanic tribes and became known as the English people."

No!
We are one with the British! We do everything in theirs fashion, and we share the booty!
The USA occupies now Iraq, Afghanistan, South Korea, Germany, and God knows how many other countries!
So it is not only Australia, and it is not legally occupied, because there is no such thing as legal occupation!
The British and the USA try to occupy illegally the whole world!
