Surely, the answerer of this question - if a cynic- would say they are correct and therefore more likely to be right, however, if cynics are more likely to be wrong then they would be more likely to be wrong to say that. But if a cynic IS more likely to be right anyone who agrees is likely to be a cynic, and by being so may or may not be right depending on the truth of the statement.

Either way it is circular and self serving, and far too complex for me before I have had a cup of coffee

it depends what they are cynical about. although since a cynic does not take things at face value, and generally gets as much info as they can before making decisions or judgements, they are probably more right than wrong(but what the hell do i know) not a bad question though.
