Without due regard for past generations why do American born citizens place other countries in front of the United States as a "motherland" when they live, and inhabit on US soil?

oops, I messed up. I meant to say: With due regard for past generations, or in other words; with the exception of them.

good question... I dont get it? I call myself a US citizen when talking about nationality. And, just black when talking about race.

I do not like African American either. I am black, so my roots come from Africa. And, I think on a racial level, I am related to all other black people on the planet.

If you are black, you are related to the same place as me. There is no need to say African Canadian, African Australian, African Uzbekistanian - just black works fine...

I know my genealogy from the year 1742. My ancestors came here from Germany. However, I consider myself an American. But knowing their names, marriages, reproduction without marriage, their professions, or crafts, and where they lived is very interesting.

Dunno. Personally I think the country you have citizenship in should be the country you say you're from.
