If so, what time should be looking for it?

PS Yes, I'm aware that the moon won't be 'blue' ... it's named this if there is more than 1 full moon ~ aka: "Once in a blue moon ... "

The Blue Moon occurs on JUNE 30 at 13:49 UT. Fairbanks is located at 64°50′16″N, 147°42′59″W, so the event should take place at 5:49 AM AKDT (3:49LMT). The Moon's declination on that date will be - 27.6° while the Sun's declination will be 23.17°, so the Moon will be approx 69.27°S from Zenith, or 20.73° above the Southern horizon. If the night is clear, the Moon should be readily visible.

Yes however the moon is not the color blue. "Blue Moon" is a term used when a full moon appears twice within the same month.

What is the big deal with "blue moons"? All it is is an accident of the calendar. It has absolutely nothing to do with the Moon or astronomy!
