Labyrinth (1986), with Jennifer Connelly and David Bowie (in awful tight grey nuthuggers). It was probably a little disturbing for some young viewers, but it was creative and had very good visual effects dispite the lack of technology back then. And of course it was directed by Jim Henson.

A must see...especially if you're older now and dabble in recreational drugs.
