can i lose 4 pounds a week if i just eat brown rice and grilled chicken (with no skin) thanks so much no smart *** answers

Please. My nickname shows up on the answer as smart*** but the full name is smatassawhip. This is not a smart*** answer. It depends on how much chicken and brown rice that you eat! You can't get away from the fact that if you eat more calories than you burn, you will gain weight, if you eat less calories than you burn, you will lose weight.

Grilled chicken (with no skin) and brown rice is a healthy diet if you add a vegetable to it. Also, it is usually hard to stay on a diet where you eat the same thing every day.

Usually, it is not considered health to lose more than 2 pounds a week. There is a thing know as a set point. Your body has many protective mechanisms designed into it to keep you from dying. One of them is that if you eat so little that you lose too much weight too quickly, your body interprets this as that you are starving.

To protect you from starving your body reduces your metabolism so that you burn less calories. When this happens it makes it harder to lose weight and you have less energy. To prevent this it is better to only lose 2 lbs. a week and to get some of that lose by increasing your regular exercise so that you burn more calories as well as take in less calories.

4 lbs a week is NOT a healthy goal. Talk to a nutritionist, they can help you maximize your weight loss in a HEALTHY way. If you lose weight too fast, one of two things will happen: you will either rapidly gain it back and then some, or you will hurt your body by depriving it of the things it needs to survive. It's not worth it.
