Depends on my mood and what they talk about. I don't like personal questions and I don't like to talk about sports. I enjoy hearing immigrant taxi drivers tell about where they came from but their stories are mostly very sad.

Hate is too strong a word, but what I dislike is barbers or taxi drivers that don't get the hint to shut up. Most barbers and taxi drivers I have interacted with actually do get the hint if I'm not in a particularly talkative mood.

I prefer the old fashioned barber. He's been cutting hair for almost 20 years and I've been ther 15. This guy has a lot of people that won't go anywhere else, because he give good haircuts and tells some good stories and has a good sense of humor.
If it's a new guy, 'Just cut my hair!'

Yes. I hate recounting my life story over and over again. What I really hate though is a talkative dentist or dental assistant. How am I supposed to answer their questions when they are stucking their instruments down my throat?

I hate anyone who is talkative when I'm in a bad mood, but sooner or later I realize they are just trying to be friendly & I lighten up a bit.

i don't mind taxi drivers talking...its amazing sometimes what they know about life in general...as for hairdressers, well, a few sentences will do, but i would rather they focus on my hair...

It depends on what mood I am in. But I understand what you mean. Just tell them you don't feel well and most people will not talk to you if you tell them that excuse.
