PRO's: You'll see the world in a whole new light for about 6-8 hours. I thought a veil was being lifted and I was seeing the world as it really was. I was driving around places I've been hundreds of times before, but it felt like I was on mars. Nothing looked familiar. The traffic was moving funny, signs were on the wrong side of the road, light poles became worms, large rocks became faces. I sat down by a river that was reflecting the street lights, and that became a flaming wolf, and then native Americans juggling fire. The hairs on your arm will become worms moving in & out of your skin. You'll feel euphoric during that time as well (if you're in a good mood to begin with). It creates a feeling of peace.

CON's: You could have a bad trip.
You could do something drastic & stupid because you'll feel invincible.
When all was said & done, it was the darkest time of my life. I never felt more depressed.
I've only done it once, and I still see things move that are supposed to be inanimate.
I also agree with previous poster regarding nightmares coming true. My trip started in a bad direction, but turned around fortunately.

The thing about LSD is you never know what you're going to get. Your high is contingent upon where your psych is at, if you're nervous about what it's going to be like that in itself can cause you to have a bad trip. The other thing is unless you're a person who can completely let go and just flow with whatever you may end up on a "bad trip" because once you go in a direction you cant bring yourself out of it, you just have to ride it out. Many people have found it to be liberating, or spiritual in some ways - you remember thing youve lost sight of, make sense of things you havent been able to, notice the smallest details and if its good you will laugh until it hurts and then laugh some more.

I have never been comfortable taking synthetics...you dont really know what you'll get. I have actually known several people who dropped acid and never came back...

LSD is a hallucinogen, and ecstasy is MDMA mixed with regardless of the pill presser felt like putting in there. ordinarily e makes you experience extremely stable, loosens inhibitions, makes lights furniture seem loopy, and makes it perplexing to hearken to to issues each and every now and then. Acid differences your seen perceptions and differences the way you think of. It provides a very diverse attitude on regardless of you would be questioning approximately on the 2d too.

Tried it once when I was young back in the early 70's. Nothing bad happened but I didn't like it, made my heart race like I'd been running for days, couldn't sleep but I do have to say from what I remember the colors were a lot more vibrant.
But I'd not recommend anyone trying it. Like I said I only did it the one time and it wasn't from lack of it.

Everything from colours and shapes appearing, animals chatting, carpet dancing off the floor, to long and involved conversations with dead relatives... It is a total mind control drug and the only way to keep a grip is to keep telling yourself its only the chemicals. They can last for a day or so.
Afterwards you feel very drained and sort of hung over for 24-48 hours. They were fun when I was young however I wouldnt touch any these days as you never know whats in them...

Imagine yourself jumping off a plane and your moving way too fast.
You can't stop.
You can't control how fast you fall.
No one can save you.
Don't try it.
Just watch a 60's movie instead.

picture your worst nightmare. Now picture your worst nightmare coming true. There you go.

Even the "good part of tripping" is still very intense, and not exactly pleasant.
