I can understand them needing prayers but God helps those who help themselves. I hate judging people but truly believe that an appeal directly to the child snatcher would be more constructive. Am sure the Pope prays daily for all suffering little children & a visit wouldn't grant them anything "extra" but perhaps some "feelgood". Am not so naieve as so expect the abductor to return Maddie on the appeal but at least they may get some kind of info. OR am i getting desperate myself? Poor little Maddie.

Wasn't this in Portugal? It's a heavily Roman Catholic country. Appealing to the Pope may bring more personal pressure on the kidnapper(s) than you give it credit for.

Why should they appeal to the abductor , They are getting to meet the pope , Not many people get as close to the pope as they are going to get .

Tell me because maybe I have become a bit ignorant over the last few weeks , Does the pope have a magic wand? Can he bring her back ? Or is it that Mr & Mrs McCann need to feel comforted for their actions to date ? and who else to comfort them than the pope .
I can't wait until this whole thing is over ,
As I said before ......Time is a funny thing ...Let's wait and see what time brings .
