I just got one and obviously it was teenage girls. I hate to get private numbers on my cell! Will cell phones ever get private blocking?

Yes, I used to do it before *69 came out. But now when you are grown up, it's not cool anymore.

I have the same problem. An old disgruntled babysitter won't stop being childish. I'd like to change my # but instead I think I might call one of my lil cousins to come and kick her a*%! They will probably get blocking eventually, but we need it NOW!!!!

I can't believe people are still doing that. I haven't gotten a prank call in about 17 years, when I was in middle school and no one had cell phones. Call waiting was the big thing back then. It was called 'total phone' then.

I have no clue. Its really annoying, esp when the person knows you and you have no clue who they are!! I got calls every now and then for a few weeks.
And cell phones suck with these kinds of things, I was never able to do anyuthing about it bc the number they would call from was a cell.
People need to grow up!

Some idiot called me once saying their mother had them locked in the bathroom with the poop monster. They kept giggling every few seconds and I could hear another idiot in the background whispering to them to tell them what to say.

The voice was like a grown man trying to sound like a little girl. It was very sad. I called the police and told them the phone number (because they were too stupid to even block it) and they figured out where the call came from. I told them they needed to go there and check on the little girl that kept calling me telling me her mom had her locked in the bathroom.

HOURS LATER I get woke up in the middle of the night- this time the number was blocked. All he said was "*****" and hung up. LOL

It depends.....I use to know some cats who cranked called restaurants & stores & recorded them on a chatline for people to hear. This one guy called a Walgreens & complained that when he got home the jar of Vaseline he had bought had been used...& that it had some weird fluid like substance in it.........the manager was like "Oh my God,....I"m sooooo sorry..bring it back & we'll give you a new jar or a refund!", but he kept going on about how disgusted he was & that if "If this is the type of place Walgreens is", while the manager kept saying, "No, no its not I promise you!!". *lol*

I know how you feel, I work at a hotel and have had two prank calls already tonight,.... I guess people who do prank calls, feel better about themselves cause in their little mind, the person they are calling is to far away to actually hurt them....... unless you have a trace buster-buster (sorry had a "The Big Hit" movie flash back)

Shall we have all the stupid people drawn and quartered for you? Then you wouldn't have to worry about them again. Oh!!! By the way, CHILL OUT, weren't you ever a teenager? Get a sense of humor.
