Tower Of Power has been a great horn section as a gorup themselves, as well as contributing with other artists. My favourite track by them is "Squib Cakes" from Back To Oakland, it's all instrumental, has a guitar solo, B-3 organ solo, horn solo, and it's very much "in the pocket." A must listen.
Chicago also has a hot brass section. It's true they mellowed out in the 80's, but their early stuff like the medley "Ballet For a Girl in Buchannan" is orchestral and groovy at the same time, a must have from their Chicago II CD. And who could forget "25 or 6 to 4"?
Enjoy the music.

particular. Chicago did have stable success with that as did Blood Sweat and Tears, Ides of March and a few others. I exceeded off to artwork out Chicago open for Hendrix shrink returned indoors the day. Chicago basically had it relatively is 2d album out and Hendrix basically released electric powered woman Land. Terry Kath carried out some large solos and that i will think of of him and Jimi speaking guitar interior the technique the expedition.

I'd go with Blood Sweat and Tears, Spinning Wheel, God Bless the Child, You Made Me So Very Happy. Though I'd give Honerable Mention to Ides of March for Vehicle.
