Awww, that's cute how you arranged a meeting for them to make up. Typical Leo lol. Unfortunately, there's not much you can do if this type of situation except let things unfold as they will. I understand how awkward it is since both of them are your friends and now you might have to start hanging out with them separately but until they're ready to make up they won't do it. Was it a falling out or something serious or something silly and trivial? If it happened recently then the wounds are still fresh and there's still a chance of reconciliation. The best you can do is if one of them starts to talk bad about the other to you then stop them in their tracks. Don't take sides and stay neutral. My mom was a libra and my dad was a scorpio. In my experience as the child it was somewhat traumatic. Bottom Line: paranoia , jealously, Scorpios have a tendency to "overindulge"In his case it was alcohol. physical abuse, fights, mental illness. Scorpios are intense to say the least. most likely, because air signs and water signs are supposed to get along, whereas fire and earth tend to be the rivals(according the the book) and scorpio's are water signs, and libra's are air signs. i'm sure the signs will be tollerant of eachother.
