It depends on whether or not the DUI was a felony or a misdemeanor. Most job applications require you list felony arrests, but not misdemeanors. Felony records may or may not be a factor, it depends on the job. All you can do is apply and interview with potential employers

If you are looking for a job in the transportation (requiring a special operator license) or security/law enforcement fields, then your DUI will be reason enough not to hire you.

There is no such thing (joking ) . Depends on the job , & the employer . If it involves driving , or anything else potentially dangerous , then a DWI / DWAI will hurt your chances . In most cases it won't . Have had coworkers , with a job that required driving, OK'd , when their licence suspension was over , as long as they went to AA , & got drug-tested.
