No the earth goes through warming and cooling cycles. Over 90% of all species that have lived on this planet have gone extinct. There is a reason for this and that reason is when the climate changes and a species can't adapt it dies. Its all very natural.

Yes. It's true but don't panic. Thr earth won't die. It will go dormant though and bounce back in a few thousand years.
Experts are arguing about the timeline but according to theory, we have probably 600-700 years before life on our planet would be so minimal, that it could not support human life any longer, due to the pending new ice age.
There is also the possibility that man will have enough time to correct all of our mistakes, through technology before that happens.
We can only hope.

Of course we are except for it being the beginning, the beginning of extinction started the day humans came into it. So I'd guess we're probably 3/4 of the way there.
At least that's the way I believe.
