Sometimes you actually make decisions, but I have found with myself, as with most people...I just sorta stumbled into my destiny.
To my family and friends, the decision I made a year ago to start a new job and volunteer at a shelter what just another half-a** typical decision like so many others I have made in my life.
BUT it turned out to be the best decision of my life! I now have a job I love!!! And for a few hours a week I spend time with/and care for homeless cats and dogs.
I think life makes that decision for you. Very few people get it right the first time around (or even the second or third time!) You just keep going through trial-error until you hit the mark.
Just remember that the decisions you make today will either open doors or limit your decisions tomorrow.

I was an idiot for a couple years and wound up in a very bad relationship and then when I needed help from the law, I was unable to get it because I didn't have the right last name or paycheck.
I decided then and there that when I got myself out of this mess (which I did. I filed my own divorce, my own child support, and my own restraining order at the age of 19) that I was going to study Law and try to make a difference with my life so that 20 years from now when a girl winds up in the same situation, she doesn't have to spend hours on end reading books and looking for loopholes.

i got pregnant in high school, so i went to cosmetology school and hated every minute of it. i mean, hated it.
moved on to the glamorous life of the factory. been doing that ever since. i have been at the same place for about 9 years, i do alot of wire welding.
i decided because of necessity. i had to take care of my daughter. i was actually in line to go to college for sports medicine. im a far cry from that

When I ran out of food and money, I knew I had to do something. So, I made a big sign that said: "WILL WORK FOR FOOD." And now I stand on the center island holding it up to make people feel sad and give me money.

By handling my responsibilities. That path will determine where you should be and show you how to enjoy your choices and where you are in this life.
