i just bought some fake tiffany's jewelry from chinatown the other day. on several different places of my necklace, for instance, is the number 925 (which means it's sterling silver). since it's illegal and fake to begin with, is there any chance that it could be real silver?

They can fake the number, too. Take it to a jeweler and ask but is probably fake.
