We don't have blinds on our bedroom window. Toronto acts as our nightlight. There are nights when the clouds are full enough I can read with the lights turned out.

No, nightlights scare me. I will take the warm embrace of the darkness any night.

I haven't slept with a nightlight, but I have slept with one on in my room.

No, I need it dark.
And I have an East-facing window, so I put a bookcase in front of it to block out the sunrise in the morning.

No but hubby has them all over the house and it drives me bonkers...he has to have the light on the fridge, the stone, under the cabinets, the fish tank, one in the bathroom to pee in the middle of the night...UGH!

Nope. Just the light from my alarm clock bothers me! I have to sleep with my arm over my eyes.

Yes. I'm afraid of the purple people. Light keeps them away at night...

Not for me, for my kids in case they wander into our room in the night. We have them all over the house for the little people, but before kids we never had them.

Sometimes...especially after watching a scary movie/television show....it puts me at ease so I can fall asleep then.
