Not even close. There are species going extinct all the time. It's estimated that in the next 100 years, half the species in the world will become extinct thanks to man.

People will eliminate thousands of animal species before humans themselves go extinct. We aren't close to being next in line.
But the human race becomes more and more pathetic every day. I have a box of sleeping medication,and the box says Warning : May cause drowsiness. DUH!
