first of all, use a classic metal lash curler like shu uemura. if you can't afford the shu choose a metal one with a thick rubber piece. look straight and make sure that the curler is at the middle of your lash hairs, going to far back will make them straight and folded giving you a "surprised eyes" look and going to forward will make it fold or just mess up.
at the center pump once or twice gently. move a bit forward just a wee bit forward and pump the curler again if the lashes fold more than curl.
apply mascara. comb with a lash comb.

Shu Uemura is the best eyelash curler on the market, if your eyelashes are really stuborn, then I would use a primer. My favorite is Estee Lauders because its a primer and lash conditioner, then use a mascara. I use waterproof mascara on super stubborn lashes, but do the "walking out" trick and you wil be all good.
Don't use just any curler, you will notice the difference in your lashes, primer also helps alot.
And you can always find curling mascaras at stores.

Start at the base & press. Then move to the middle of your lashes & press. The last press is @ about the last 1/3 of your lahses. Apply mascara after curling your lashes.

the terrific eyelash curler is shu uemura... as far as mascara i exploit loreal architect and it truly isn't any longer invisible even even though it does prolong genuine nicely. human beings propose curling your lashes until now u positioned mascara on yet I curl mine after... you additionally can use a eye lash brush to do away with clumps... curl your lashes on the backside first and curl the top area of your lash .. i oftentimes carry it for approximately 10 seconds and it works.

Put mascara on the TIPS of your eyelashes only then curl them with a good quality curler (i recomend plastic, not metal) in the center of your eyelashes.
then reapply your mascara all over your lashes
they should look long & glamorous!
hope this helps!

shu uremura eyelash curler..at sephora.
hold the eyelash curler close to the base of your eyelashes.
squeeze gently...hold for about 5-10 seconds.
as you become better at it..you can do what the makeup artists do..
they call it walking it out..
they gently squeeze and release for the entire length of the eyelash...it gives a natural look.
