No. I have eight or ten key points in my personal belief system, they are prioritized and I make comparisons from that perspective. I may end up voting for a candidate that really only matches me on one issue but it will be my top one. You see I am more than willing to give a little to get a lot, the key to good investing.
I also have a go-no go list of about four items and I do not give on any of those.
Usually it means I go for moderates.
1. Enforce the current laws on immigration, cut off funding to any state or other governmental jurisdiction that does not enforce current law, sort of like a fine, say for SFO cut off funding for a year and then revisit their record to see if funding is started again. Secure the border, prior to 1992 the border patrol has much of what they needed since then they have fallen farther and farther behind, they need full funding NOW.
2. Finish the job, help secure Iraq from al qeada, Iran and Syria.
3. Stay the course (I just love that term), we have had the best six years in history despite 9/11, a war on two fronts and a collapse of the stock market due to clintons loose policies.
4. I believe marriage is defined as a man and a woman. If the people want something else they can enter into a civil contract with each other which has all the legal issues they say they are seeking. What they are seeking is legitimacy for something the majority of AMericans disagree with, and finally, it is a states issue, not the feds
5. Repeal the 16th amendment and start over with a new one, that way the people will have a say, and I am sure I will like the resolution. Imagine how much we will save if the IRS just disappeared one day.

Not that I know of.
1. Immigration - Pro LEGAL immigration. I want us to be conscious of other cultures and be helpful to others. But illegals ruin it for the people who work their butts off to be citizens
2. The War - Disagree with the current actions going on. I'm all for a fight against terrorism, but only if we're willing to change the plan and such according to the situation. Staying the course, as Bush refuses to ackowledge saying, isn't a viable option. We fight, realize that terrorism isn't 100% faught in the streets, adjust, fight a diplomatic front trying to win the people while defending what we say we will defend!
3. The Economy - Less taxes. Balance the budget with Education as the highlight. Remove social security.
4. Gay Marriage - As long as people don't start imposing their views on me, I couldn't care less. Marry if you want just don't go around recruiting. I hate that.
5. (See Economy)
So, nope.

No one so far. That is a lot of questions bro lol. I will try to make a short point on all of them. Immigration....enforce our boarders first then worry about what to do with 20 million illegals already here. The war is something we have to win! The economy is something that Bush has helped by the tax cuts. Lowest unemployment for the longest time in our history. Stock market at record highs continually. Funny how libs and the main stream media gives him no credit for this. But that is par for the course they are on a political "Bash Bush" merry- go- round and seem to have no time for anything else like little things such as a plan to win the war on terror, how to balance the budget if you go to the Library of Congress website you will see that the budget they propose increases the budget by several billion and they say republicans spent like drunken sailors. Gay marriage, a touchy subject indeed.. If our nation lets gays marry then it is only a matter of time that bestiality will follow. Bubba is gonna want to marry his donkey or monkey or dog or all the above. It will just be a matter of time for that to happen. Taxes, conservatives think they should be as low as possible so we can all pursue our own bit of hapiness. Libeals think you can tax a country into prosperity the higher the taxes the better off the people will be. That is socailaism and it hasn't worked in the past and won't work now. Even though they think the only reason it hasn't worked is because the right people haven't tried it yet. Hillary and Obama have both said getting rid of the tax cuts is one of their top priorities. Hillary even said it in at least 4 different accents lol. I think it was Ronald Regan who said " trying to tax a country into prosperity is like asking a man to stand in a large bucket and lift himself off the ground by pulling on the handles" I will vote for a conservative if one happens to enter the race like Fred Thompson. Otherwise I will have to vote for whoever is strongest on the war on terror.

1. Abortion - wrong. It's destroying a life, saying something like 'my body, my choice' could be applied anywhere. For example, I have a dog, so does that make it ok for me to kick around, abuse it and torture him, (my dog, my choice right?) [I would never actually do this, its just an example] 2. The death penalty - Yes, murderers, child molesters, rapists, kill them all. 3. Physician-assisted suicide - If the person themselves wants it, I have nothing against it. 4. Medical marijuana - On the fence unfortunately, 5. President Obama - I actually don't think he is that bad, BETTER THAN BUSH!! Update : Also: 6. Animal testing - Wrong in every sense. Again, shown them the death penalty. 7. Same-sex marriage - Perfectly fine,

Ron Paul
1. Immigration - Rated 100% by FAIR, indicating a voting record restricting immigration. In favor of "the wall" and increased border patrols. Opposed to amnesty.
2. The War - Opposes Iraq war and opposes path toward Iran war. Believes we should replace US troops with UN in Iraq. Voted NO on declaring Iraq part of War on Terror
3. The Economy - Government out of regulating economy & out of our bedrooms. Supports Balanced Budget Amendment & on-budget accounting. Opposed to free-trade agreements.
4. Gay Marriage - Voted NO on Constitutional Amendment banning same-sex marriage. Is personally opposed to it but believes it is a States Rights issue, not a federal one.
5. Taxes - Rated 89% by NTU, indicating a "Taxpayer's Friend" on tax votes. Believes we should immediately work to phase out the IRS and replace it with a flat tax.
Most importantly, he believes in limiting federal power, per the 10th Amendment.
Yes, a Republican I would vote for. There are a few others on both sides I like (I met Romney yesterday - smart man, I like Kuchinich on some issues,) but none match my views as closely as "Dr. No" - Ron Paul.

1.Amnesty (I appose it)
2.I support the troops and don't want another Vietnam
3.appose outsourcing
appose illegals getting jobs Americans can't do because illegals are taking them.
appose illegals getting hospitalization, schooling (including college)
appose businesses selling out the US (someday they will wonder what happened to their sells in America)
4.A sin is a sin (including adultery, and fornication)
5.Get rid of the IRS
Maybe a national sells tax (you would get your money and wouldn't be taxed until you spent it).
Does any candidate get a passing score?
no
This is the first time I don't have an idea (not even a little inkling) who to support.
Oh, by the way I'm an independent conservative christian that hasn't seen a candidate that I could proudly vote for since Reagan (When he was in office I thought about becoming a republican but neither party is on my radar screen now).

YES
1- for immigration & for throwing every illegal we can catch out of our country. No amnesty of any kind.
2- wars are meant to be won. Let the military do their job.
Military Mother, so it cost me as much as anyone.
3- a good economy is driven by strong business growth.
4- marriage is between a man & a woman. Being gay is
none of my business but allowing tax & insurance breaks
is my business. Standards are set by society & have not
changed at this point.
5- I favor a flat 10% tax, but at least a more fair system. We have to stop punishing the wealthy for making money. Wealthy business owners & investors
drive the country's economic growth. We do no on a favor by wasting the money on pet projects. My favorite is my state's new teapot musuem.
Yes there is but probably will not be elected.

Since none of them are really trying to secure our borders and no one is really pushing for gay marriage, then no.
Speaking of gay marriage, it's been nearly 3 and a half years since MA legalized it. Wasn't the institution of marriage supposed to implode or something, they told us that in '04. The way the right was talking, using such apocalyptic language, you'd think MA would sink into the bowels of hell of something. Why does MA still have the lowest divorce rate in the nation?
Seriously someone help me out here, I mean those conservative Christians wouldn't lie to us right?

Of course not.
1) On immigration I believe we need to do the following 3 things:
1) Secure our borders.
2) Crack down on those who hire & rent to illegals.
3) Increase the quota for LEGAL immigrants.
There is not 1 candidate from ANY party that espouses this view.
2) Gen McArthur said "In war, there is no substitute for winning". All our leaders seem to have forgotten that.
3) & 5) (they are closely related) I'm mainstream republican. all the 1st tier condidates share this position.
4) I personally don't care as long as it is decided by state legislatures or referenda, not courts.
