I would consider re-testing. Make sure you are sure about how a second score is lower will affect your older score first. Then you can make that decision.

These are good scores, not great. You have a very good gpa.

That's not your entire picture though. There are many factors to consider.

Since med school is a undergraduate degree away, then you should be looking at schools that do well in typical undergraduate areas such as biology or chemistry and perhaps have medical schools.

On the other hand, you may thrive better with small classes where you can confer with the instructor. Think about what best suits you. Can you do well in a class of 300?

Visit prospective schools if you can. Visit their science departments. Ask about success of alumni and their prospects of attending medical school.

Then it comes down to who has accepted you and if you have enough money.

Hope this helps.

article related below provides information, short version is: usual earnings from consistent selfprep is approximately 50 self+ type, approximately one hundred self + experienced coach a hundred and fifty+ my advice could be to no longer retake in January till you're definitely valuable youve arranged sufficient for a stable score benefit and in the adventure that your retake doesnt flow nicely, do no longer take your third (in many situations seen the max) devoid of having inner maximum tutoring.

Where are you looking at going to school. In the mid west they use the ACT scores more often, have you tried that test. Check the websites for some of the schools you are interested in, it should tell you the minimum score and GPA that they will accept.

I would study and take it over, the second time you can maybe relax more, since you know what it is like.

i got a 2190 on it because every day starting two weeks before the test i sat in my room and took a full practice test (i bought "The Official SAT Study Guide" which has 10 practice tests i think). every day my scores got better and better. i would suggest doing that! and depending on whether your school has AP's, TAKE THEM!! do all you can to bump up your GPA and get you more prepared for college. good luck!
