PSP ver 3.40 OE problem?

Question

I have just upgraded my psp from 2.60 - 2.71 - 1.50 - 3.40 OE.

The problem is the analogue for it keeps on going up within the games and internet browser.

I have read some of forums telling me to replace or clean the faceplate and analogue but I am sure it is not that for my psp is brand new.

I want answers probably from those who are currently experiencing the same problem and have solved it.
