okay congrats to AC Milan..... BUT the champions league made a big mistake even letting italian teams compete,i DO NOT watch Italian Soccer at all, but i watch sky sports and champions league and now i know why the whatever the italian league is called DO NOT LET FANS COME TO GAMES, they are the absolute WORST fans in the world, and also the players make everything so dramatic, someone comes near them and they take the WORST dives i have ever seen, italian teams live off of diving and playing dirty, i have learned that just from watching italian teams play during the champions league so they should be banned from European cups until they get it together over there

Hey 9th guy, i think no one talks about that dive in the world cup because italians are KNOWN for diving more than any country, oh and i never said english fans were perfect, but italian fans start WAY more riots than ANY english fans have so you can take you ''serie a'' and shove it

HELL NO! They dont. I hate all Italian clubs cept for Inter. Wordl Cup 2006, hurt me alot, wanted France to win, ok..who cares..it's OVER! But letting AC Milan in the Champions League was just a BIG favor. They wanted to dump them out like they did to Fiorentina...and they would have..if AC MIlan weren't such a big club. They knew AC would lose alot of money..but so would they..it meant another semi-tough teams would take thier place. Imagine the final being Liverpool v.s CSKA Moscow...WhatTheHeck!!! Just saying..they knew what it would do to the competiton. They wanted to let Juve in too, but they knew it would spark contreversey!!!!So yeah....it was illegal..but oh well. The 2006-2007 CL Final was the WORST EVER!

Milan appealed like any other team would have. Do not be angry at Milan because FIGC lessened the punishment or UEFA accepted their entry. As for Inter, Roma, and Chievo, they did not cheat to get into the CL.
As for the fans, everyone has their own problems. Italy had the riots and closed door games. England had run-ins with the police at Roma, Lille, and Athens. Spanish fans have been accused of racism.
cr7_thefootyking: Milan’s initial punishment was a 15 point deduction, not a relegation to Serie B. Isn’t it ignorant, hypocritical calling Italians divers when the most infamous diver is Cristiano Ronaldo?
Newsflash, EVERYONE DIVES! Including the French – their last 2 goals (vs. Portugal, Italy) in WC06 were PKs via dives.
I agree that Milan initially did not deserve to be in the CL; but after their performances, they did deserve to win the CL. They outplayed Celtic, Bayern Munich, and Man U. They finished their chances unlike Liverpool. Will everyone quit complaining about other people's fans or diving? Your club or country is just as guilty as the next person's.

I see this is yr first question on Yahoo.
Congratulations, it's a very good starting indeed. Where have you been upto now ?? I guess nobody of us was missing you and if the level of yr questions is represented by this one I wish, in your own interest, you can do a bit better in future...!!.
Probably you have a longlasting digestion and you've not yet absorbed the umiliation that yr glorious MANU has suffered by AC MILAN. Also I'm ready to hear again the stories of handball, cheaters, divers, etc. about the final match with Liverpool.
I'm not a Milan's fan and basically I've watched both CL matches in a neutral mood. I like Serie A and Premier League (that I watch regularly on the TV while I see you've no idea about Italian soccer and you're just reporting a series of stereotypes). However let's give up what are yr opinions on Italian soccer since they don't sound interesting to me and also because I know I could spend the rest of my life by trying explaining you're wrong (and you are wrong...!!), without convincing you.
What I would like to point out is about the fans. I agree with you that is not a nice spectacle the one offered by a (small) part of Italian teams supportes but probably you've forgot what "hooligans" were in the past in the UK (and what they still are when they're travelling abroad).
Maybe you're too young (or if not, you've a short memory) but you should in any case remember that night in Belgium (Heysel stadium to be exact) when Liverpool's fans reserved a "very warm welcome" to the Juventus' fans.
Here's is a webpage to refresh your memory
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heysel_Stadium_disaster
but I can also resume main dates for people wanting skip above link :
It was May 29, 1985 - 39 people killed, 'cause Liverpool's fans.
Don't you think this was a much better "invitation" than our Serie A or as you call it "DO NOT LET FANS COME TO GAMES" ??

Ok let me get this straight you talk about Italians diving yet in all the big matches I have seen diving from all teams. In the world cup final the penalty kick given to the french was off of a dive and yet no one talks about that.
You do not even have the smarts to at least find out the name of the league you are going to talk about? Come on!
A.C. Milan and The Italian National Team both proved it on the field and you want to say they do not deserve it.
By the way all teams in Europe have poor fans who get out of hand look at what happened in Athens after the EUFA Champions League Final. Liverpool fans, yes not the Italian team fans got out of hand and were crazy so crazy many of them made fake tickets and took the seats of other Liverpool fans who had truly paid for the real tickets. I am not saying all Liverpool fans are poor fans. I am saying every European team has some fans that get so out of hand that they make the rest of the well behaved fans go unnoticed.
By the way it is called "SERIE A"!

First of all I didn't even have to read all your excuses. Second, we hold the greatest records in the world and you expect an entertaining Champions League final without AC Milan, Inter Milan or AS Roma? Well that's not possible and they did deserve to be in the Champions League and cut the crap out and if were the worst fans in the world than your calling Brasilian and Italian fans the worst in the world.

If we are talking about hooligans then we should BAN the England Premier League. Italy has a football like no other country has (maybe Brazil). they play with all their heart and soul. Talking about hooligans is absolutely no related about Italy's football teams. It's more correlated to the Italian people and Mediterranean mentality. (See Greek or Macedonian or Serbian match) Then you will be surprised, believe me.

It's simple.. people hate on italy ever since that "dive" that they say totti did in the Korea/Japan world cup.. Look at the fkn video, he practicley got tackled and should of been a pk and probably at least a yellow card for the korean dude. That being said, italian's do dive. But guess what. SO DOES THE REST OF THE FKN WORLD!!!! don't go telling me that there's 0 diving in the english game. in the spanish game. in the german game. thats complete bs. If you ask me, there's more diving in the english game than there is in the italian 1. Most people never even watched an italian league game and make these dumb comments. The italian league is way more rough than the english one and its tactically one of the best. Of course now, all you english people will be saying, well thats because Ronaldo, Berbatov, Sheva.. all these guys aren't english.. #1 it doesn't change the fact that their divers and #2 the italian league has just as many "outsider" players as the english league.. heck Ac Milan is practicaly a complete Brazilian team now and inter has maybe 3 or 4 italians. all in all... it comes down to this. ITALY WON THE WORLD CUP THROUGH PURE SKILL. EVERY OTHER COUNTRY LOST, LIVE WITH IT!
