it is a ten gallon all glass tank, with decor (pebbles, 1 light rock, 3 plastic plants), inhabitants (6 small fish), outer additives (filter, lid, light, heater), and full of water

would the approximate weight be less than 95 pounds? more than 95 pounds? or about 95 pounds?

I've been told that a one gallon tank weighs 8.3 pounds however I'm not sure how true that is

I'd like to hear answers from people who have/have had ten gallon tanks OR who are pro/amateur "fish-tankers"

thanks!

That's true, pure water weighs 8.33 pounds per gallon BUT you have to add for the weight of materials in the water, for the tank and for the gravel as the main increase. Generally speaking a tank roughs out at 10 lbs per gallon of capacity. I think this is a bit high for the typical 10 gallon tank on most cases so I would say between 95 and 100 pounds.

A twelve months and a a million/2 you could shop him there no longer, a 20 would be mandatory with the aid of then. Feed him as a juvenile each 5-7 with pinkie mice then as right here grows enhance sizes from pinkies FL fuzzies and fuzzies to hoppers... confident feeding schedual probally could be slower than from juvi to grownup, adults consume each 7-14 days

I tell people that a a gallon of water weighs approx. 10 pds. So your 10 gallon prob. weighs about 100 pds full of water... just remember... never lift or move ur tank while it is full because the bottom will break.

the wise sages say average 10 lbs per gallon -- i never weighed it myself. it would be less for an acrylic tank as they are much lighter than glass -- but all else would be the same.
