How do you make important decisions?

Do you seek the advice of others? Do you pray? Do you search online for advice?

I try to find as much information as possible. That includes the advice of others and other educational sources. When it is something important that I cannot control, then I pray. I weigh all the pros and cons before I reach a decision. I also rely on my intuition if I have a strong feeling about something. Usually it turns out to be right.

Then i do study the options, look up stuff on line, I sometimes ask advice of others, but use the information as kind of a poll. Usually I find out as much info as I can about a subject, then go with what seems the best for me. but seriously, if it's not too big a decision, I have asked the ole magic 8 ball, or flip a coin, like when we can't decide on a restaurant or somethin. I discuss most major decisions with my support network: My husband, my mother, my sister, and my best friend. I take their input into consideration, but ultimately I reach my own conclusion.

I sit and think about it, and then weigh the pro's and con's of the situation, usually my instincts kick in.
