For poison oak or poison ivy rashes: grind up rhubarb, fresh works best, eat 1 cp two times a day and rub the juice left in the cup on sores. It will dry up and go away FAST and the bonus is you will get immune to it. I am highly sensitive to all of it and I've been so bad they wanted to put me in the hospital. An old woman told Mom to do this and in three days I started drying up and about a week it was gone. That time the rash covered about 80 % of my body.

For a burn or scald, wet the area with cold water and sprinkle baking soda on it to stop the pain immediately. Keep the burned area wet and covered with baking soda.

Don't do this on burns where the skin has charred or peeled off.
Just keep area wet, and see a doctor who will have to redistribute the skin tissue and deal with infection, etc.

The best one I know of is soda water for a belly ache. The sour thing does work too.

hiccups: ask the person if they like white horses. It catches them by surprise and they stop hiccuping. Crazy.

Aloe Vera on burns and cuts. It is great for soothing and healing. I have an Aloe Vera plant in my kitchen window.

yeah, if you make a paste out of meat tenderizer and water and put it on a bug bite (it works really well on spider bites) it takes the poison out and it will heal much quicker.
