Anyone can mutter the magic words "I'm a Christian." Using religion as a political tool is blasphemous, and pimping it out this way degrades and cheapens it. For a person to live an upright and moral life because of what he or she believes is admirable, but wearing religion on one's sleeve in order to whore it as a political tool used to win the votes of those who don't have enough confidence in their mental abilities to actually think about the real issues or even explore the candidates' backgrounds is appalling and nothing short of blasphemous.
