Faster than usual growth is linked to kidney problems, skeletal development issues, metabolic bone disorders, and so forth. A high protein diet is linked to many similar problems.

This is NOT a good idea. Turtles are genetically programmed to grow rapidly, but it takes so many resources to grow all the shell, etc., that they 'rapid growth' takes about 2-4 years to hit 4".

I know that forced growth is common for some snakes to speed up breeding- but it sacrifices the health of the snake to do it. The question then is why do it for turtles?

Red-ears do not breed well in normal keeper tanks, and there is not much profit in these low-cost animals.

Added info:
If your parents will not buy you food, perhaps you should consider giving up the turtle for something easier to care for like this.

Things you can find to feed it will include most worms, most soft-skinned bugs (avoid wood lice or other things with hard external shells), snails, bits of cooked chicken, bits of cooked organ meats, etc.

From a week, it has concern in respiratory. I haven't any veteran for turtles in my locality. The puppy save individual stated that it could have have been given a lung illness, with the aid of fact i continuously used to place it in water. (I placed it out weekly two times or thrice for an hour or so and returned placed it returned). My field is likewise not so huge, it is basically a huge bowl, yet that's not the concern, the concern is that it stayed maximum of its time in water, the puppy save individual stated that I could desire to place a stand (stone or something that's sort of a step so it may stand in it for respiratory on each and every occasion it needs to (it is so small, i won't have the money for to place it down and bypass away it). i'm not scaring you, yet basically take perfect care of it.

you have to give it some time, dont rush it. you should feed them some pellets and change the diet a little bit. try some crickets or shrimps or pellets. i think pellets are healthy and give your turtles the minerals they need to grow up, hope this help
