I have a project coming due in a few days for my Business Marketing class where i need to have a page presentation for 130 different stores. The pages need to have a border on the outside. Is there anyway i can print the page 130 times where everytime the next store on the list is printed and i don't have to manually change the word and print the page? It is very time consuming and i have other parts of the project that need my attention.

Heres a link to a sample page.

Im using Microsoft Woks Word Processor [Basically Microsoft Word. Though if there are any shareware or freeware programs available that would make this task easier i am open to the suggestion.

Mail merge worked excellently, thanks for the tip.

And whoever asked how i ever got into school.

Its 12:00 A.M and i have been up all day doing multiple projects, I'm sorry if I could not find the best way to ask my question. I was relying on the additional details to get the question across.

But thanks for your help none the less.

Mail merge should be enough for your needs

So if i get this right, you want the same border on each page, but each page is a different name like Billies and then Tommies?

In that case, you can use a Page Break, where it is still in the same document but it creates a new page.

First you have to make the document a template though. That might be a good thing to do. No matter what this is gonna be super tedious.

OR the third thing to do would be to make one page with just the border and print it 130 times, then just print each page with the name changed overtop of the already printed border. That would probably be the best situation.

BTW ur question makes no sense, how did u get into school?

First, create a list of the store names in Works database and save the file.

Create a field called store name in the database. Enter each store Name into the file. Save the file.

Next, in the place where you need the store name choose insert from the menu and select database field. Then choose other type of file.

Enter the name of the database file you just created and select the store name field.

Now go to file, print and do the print preview. It should show the number of pages equal to the number of records in the database file. Select print and all the pages will print with a different store name on each page.

you can do it through mail merge, i think (it's an option in microsoft word). you have to type all the addresses, of course, but you just type them all together, and word plugs in a different one each time.

go the the "tools" menu in word; it's under "letters and mailings"
