Came home drunk one night and placed the truck keys inside my cowboy hat, then hung it up when I walked in the door. Not being able to find the key anywhere the following morning, I had to have the truck re-keyed for a cost of $350 bucks!, the kicker was when a few days later, a friend went to try on my hat and the key fell out in front of us, I thought I was gonna sh*t!...man I was pissed off!

yes both. Also I checked my purse 3 times for my keys and then looked all over the house for them, dumped out boxes of my sons toys looking for them...and it turns out that they were in my purse after all. Another key incident I had was christmas eve. I couldnt find my keys to get to the christmas eve party and I searched the house up and down, it took me 3 hours to find out that the keys were inside the christmas tree because my son threw them in there.

Yup lol just the other day nad my 8 yo had a good laugh about it. He was trying to tell me they were in my hand through his laughter and I was too busy looking for them. When he finally got it out I felt really stupid.

Purse, yes, I have done this. Had my sister-in-law contact my landlord to get into my house and get my extra set, and bring them to me, only to discover that I had put the keys in a different place in my purse. Oh, the shame and horror.

No, I don't think so but I have searched for the phone while I was talking on it...I was wondering why it wasn't in the charger..Duh!!!!!!!.... Come to think of it I have probably done that with keys as well......I just don't remember...LOL

Yes, and once I went all over my house looking for my glasses only to find out that I was wearing them (it had been a really long week and I was tired).
