also neither....its just about a good guy, who accomplished all those things by accident.
the movie is actually better than the book, and yes, forrest gump was originally a book!

It just makes me cry!!!! Then I watch Tom Hanks in I can't think of the name of the movie, but the one where he is stranded on an island and he makes friends with a volleyball and calls him "Wilson", the name of the company that made the ball, I just watched it last night, see how quickly one's memory can fade. Anyway, and I have to laugh.

That movie didn't make me feel dumber or smarter.... just MEGA glad I watched it. Its one of those movies you feel you really took something from....
