hi, tried downloading zone alarm to my laptop several times. the download is stopping with the message: vsmon.exe - This application has failed to start because zpy.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

Tried to download from zonelabs directly as sugested but same thing happened. As well as the alert message i also get this:
"Setup is unable to log into the TrueVector. Use service manager to shut down the TrueVector service and re-start installation programme".

Do you mean the download is stopping, or the installation? If it's the download, you must be doing it via a previously-downloaded setup program (I've never used ZoneAlarm, so I'm guessing here). If this is the case, then try downloading and installing using their standalone installer (which I assume they have). A standalone download cannot be giving you the error message that you're seeing.

I have used the free zone alarm for atleast ten years and always installs without problems.

Download again the free home for personal use. This program even when a new version comes out will perform an automatic download and install over the old version.
