Against my wishes I got divorced 14 years ago. It was like a death and I still grieve for it. I also lost my first true love when I was a freshman in college. Every month in december I start to get a little depressed and when I look at the calander its almost the 16th. This is back from 1971. You never forget someone you love.

Yes. I was with my partner, Gwenneth for 42 years.
About me: I am Catriona Isobel Rose P.
Born March 1944. I now live in cyberspace but haunt Northern UK.
I had thought of joining the QAANS but fortunately found office employment where I met my darling Gweneth with whom I spent 42 years. My family accepted us, hers were horrid, thus our time together was spent "in clouds or sunshine , joy and tears."
Obliged to leave our Churches due to a whispering campaign. we worshiped in the open air when possible. My memory of communion is walking with her through a haze of falling blossom petals and knowing love of all things.
We lived quietly as Church mice in a house we purchased at about the age of 20.
One thought remains of work. A bright young thing said of us "Oh look, here come the Spinsters. Couldn't get a man to save themselves". Gwen smiled and said "Well fellow spinster, are we as one ?" Gwen died when I was overseas on leave and I had to learn to forgive myself for the consequences.
My thanks dear friends for helping me to live.
Rose P.
