I can be swimming in the Atlantic ocean in about 5 minutes,if you prefer fresh water there are lakes and ponds ranging from15 minutes to about a half hour away.

There's a couple of small man-made lakes in town, and there's a river in a neighboring town,....but the closest major body of water is Lake Michigan.

Major body of water is the Pacific Ocean, which is 45 minutes away. Not so major, Hanson Damn which is 15 minutes away.

I can see a river from my living room window.. It is called the Exploits Valley river... I am approximately an hours drive from the Atlantic Ocean....

I live on an island on the atlantic ocean, its only a few minutes to the water depending on what you want to take with you for the day!
