U2. I like how much they volunteer and try to help make the world a better place and find cures for aids, and help with poverty. They are very great humanitarians but I'm not a fan of their music. I don't understand how their CD "How to dismantle an Atomic Bomb" won a grammy!

I hate Avril Levigne with a bloody passion that borders on psychosis. She was annoying enough when she came out with her poser skater-chick look, preppy pop music and trite lyrics. But now she has that new song out about stealing another chick's boyfriend, with the cheerleader-esque beat reminiscent of Toni Basil's "Mickey" (NOT a bad song, but it doesn't need to be copied) and the oh-so-profound lyric, "She's, like, so whatever." If I had any respect for her at all, it's in the negative numbers now. Like, ew.

Can't think of any groups, but a few solo artists: Bob Dylan, Joe Cocker, Bono (I know he's with a group, but I just don't like him personally, too self-righteous), Sheryl Crow, the list goes on.....

I wouldn't use the word hate ... but ... irritates my nerves. The rap that is full of swearing, degrading women, talking about killing ... Nothing like spreading violence to the younger kids listening to it. Oh joy ...
